Centre for Online Regional Research - CORR

My Involvement

CORR has been established with a grant from the Federal Government Department of Transport and Regional Services - Regional Solutions Program an initiative helping regional and rural communities find local solutions to local challenges.

CORR is unique in regional ICT's research as it has being developed and lead by a not for profit community based organisation in partnership with industry and universities.

I have been responsible for three aspects of the development of CORR.

• The development and planning of CORR from the begining in conjunction with Peter Jamieson and Chris Morris from NETCo-op. This included the development of the Participatory Action Research (PAR) methodology used by CORR. Creating partnerships with keystakeholders and preparing the formal documentation for the incorporation of the CORR and the recognition of its Charitable status.
• Organising the first CORR planning meeting and conference held in November 2003 in Wangaratta. You can read about this conference event by following this link.
• Providing ongoing consultancy and development advice and planning for the CORR 2003 Conference in December 2003 in conjunction with the GCN2003 event.
