Gifts - Decorations, High Social Standing and Starships

Faults - Low Social Standing

Decorations (Military Only)

The character has received awards for bravery. Decorations gain respect and renown for those who receive them.

Social Standing

Characters from the Imperium can receive noble titles as their Social Standing increases.

The first Social Standing Gift gives the character High Social Standing. A second Social Standing Gift gives the character the title of Knight and further Social Standing Gifts will continue to increase their title.

The first Social Standing Fault gives the character Low Social Standing. A second Social Standing Fault gives the character Very Low Social Standing.

Starships

Starship Gifts may be taken in some careers. The GM may decide to provide the party with a starship or that there will be no character owned starships so check first before taking Starship Gifts.

Additional Starship Gifts may be chosen from the two free Gifts the character receives or purchased for Cr50,000 each out of the characters starting money.

When a group or individual has all the Starship Gifts that they want, they choose an initial ship type from the Ship Type column that matches closest to the career(s) of the character(s) with the highest number of Starship Gifts.

All ships start at 40 years mortgage (1/240th of ships price per month) and in Mediocre condition.

For each additional Starship Gift choose one of the following:

• remove 10 years from the mortgage

• raise the ships condition by one level

• move the ship type one place further down the table
