These pages are designed for classes at CNLC to display their work. Each class has its own character and focus and is listed.

Adult Literacy and Basic Education class
This class meets on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. The class works with the Certificates in General Education for Adults, Levels Intro, 1& 2. Students discuss current issues, use computers and develop their literacy skills through a range of activities.
It is a friendly, dynamic group of students full of surprises!

Everyday Literacy class
The Everyday Literacy Class meets every Thursday. The class is working with the Introductory and Level 1 CGEA. We like to use the internet and email each week. We read,write and talk about a range of everyday topics, as well as the Football.

Intermediate English class
The Intermediate English class is a diverse and lively group from Somalia, Vietnam, Paraguay, Mexico, Iran, Egypt and Eritrea and we meet three times a week at Carlton to improve our language and computer skills.

Improve Your English Class
This class meets on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Students enjoy cooking, craft and English language activities. The class works with the Certificates in English Language Literacies I & II. The women in this class come from Asia, Africa and Europe.

Part-time English Class
This class meets on Monday and Wednesday afternoons. Students enjoy outings and discussing current issues and other English language activities. The class works with the Certificates in English Language Literacies I.

Beginners Part-time English Class
This class meets twice a week on Tuesday and Thursday. The class works with the Certificates in English Language Literacies I (foundation). Members of the class come from Vietnam, China, Ethiopia, Somalia, Lebanon and Korea. They enjoy talking about their week and they like to go on excurions.

Everyday English Class
Students in this class are just starting out on their English language learning journey. They work with the Certificates in English Language Literacies I ( Foundation) & Level I. The women in this class come from Africa and Asia and enjoy making things together as they learn English
