Margarita's Story
My name is Margarita. I was born in Russia.I now live in Highett which is in Melbourne.Here are some photos of me when I was little.
In Russia I lived in a flat on the 2nd floor. I lived in Odessa where I first went to school, Russia. Odessa is on the Black Sea. My first teacher's name was Julia. I liked her. I also liked maths. When I was in Russia we didn’t have coke, just Pepsi. Now they have both.
My dad's name is Vlidimer. In Russia my dad was an engineer. At the moment he is looking for job.

My mum's name is Dorina.

I have one sister. My sister's name is Alex. She is older then me. My sister Alex is studying at university.

 








 


 
 
 
 
 

My uncle, aunt and 2 cousins also came from Odessa to live in Australia.

I was 16 years old when I left Russia. When I arrived I didn't speak much English.

I don/t have a job but I would like to get one I would like to work in a sandwich shop.


School

I went to school in Elwood. When I first started it was little bit hard.

I played sport at school. I was best at swimming. I liked playing ball too. My best friend was Nadia. I don't know what happened to her.

I was good kid at school. I went for my lunch to the schools buffet.

My favourite lunch was a sandwich tomato, cheese, anion and chicken.
 
 
 
 

 


 
 

Pets

I have a dog and a cat. My dog’s name is Jetson. He is a black American Cocker Spaniel. He is 1 year old and very friendly. He is my baby.

My cat's name is Kyza. He is ginger and white and is 4 years old.

Food and drink

I remember chocolate lollies when I was a kid in Russia. They were delicious to eat. They had a nut in the middle. You can't buy them in Melbourne now.

Pepsi is my favourite drink. We had it in Russia and of course you can buy in Melbourne.
 
 
 
 
 

 

Television

My favourite T V show is Prisoner. My favouurie is Doreen. She is a very funny girl. I also like Bee Smith. She is top dog.
