About the Classes

Carringbush Adult Education is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) and offers the following accredited courses:

Carringbush Adult Education targets adult residents of the City of Yarra, especially those living on both the Richmond and Collingwood Housing Estates.

The classes are suitable for students who are at the beginning of either return to study or learning English as a Second Language

LLNP (Language Literacy Numeracy Program)

The LLNP is federally funded and offers students a chance to study English full time (20 hours per week) Students need to be registered with Centrelink. If you feel you may be eligible ask for either Centerlink or your Job Network Agency to arrange for an assessment. These classes are conducted at the Richmond Library

AMEP (Adult Migrant Education Program)

These are the 510 hours new arrivals may be eligible for. AMEP students can attend classes depending upon space availability and students being at a suitable level.

Class times

All classes are carried out between 9.30 -3.30 Monday to Thursday. At present Carringbush Adult Education offers no evening classes.
