About the Plenary Participants Clint Smith is Field Manager at TAFE frontiers. He is adult educator,
researcher Michael Chalk is Online Learning & Professional Development
Coordinator at Preston Reservoir Marg Aspin was the head of online learning at NMIT, then worked
for a short time with ANTA and now runs her own business in education
and training, currently developing a strategic workforce development plan
for the Pharmaceutical Society of Australia (Vic Branch), and working
on the Office of Training and Tertiary Education guidelines for VET staff
who deal with small business project in conjunction with Chisholm Institute
of TAFE. Margaret also runs workshops on virtual teams and working online.
http://aoc.alphalink.com.au Dale Pobega currently teaches ESL and Computing at Duke Street Community House and runs his own online training and educational consultancy "Daws and Pobega E-Literacy Solutions". Dale has spent many years working in the ACE field as a teacher, trainer and ardent promoter of flexible delivery. He has co managed the ACENET Flexible Learning Network for the last five years and established the 'Online.Ace Teaching Program', in 1999, an online course which he continues to deliver and develop in conjunction with his colleague, Michael Gwyther. Michael Gwyther currently joint manages private RTO Yum Productions
Pty Ltd with Erin McCuskey. YUM are currently working in flexible teaching
and learning strategies with trainers, course development, multimedia
resources for industry and literacy students, WELL projects and a variety
of video training & production. He is also the part time manager of
community based ISP YarraNet and has worked in ACE, particularly neighbourhood
houses for over 15 years. He has managed the E Learning Communities Flexible
Learning Network and has worked closely with Dale Pobega for the past
4 years on a variety of flexible learning projects. |
